Surprise Mom and Dad

Sorry Grandma and Grandpa Razor but we had our ultrasound yesterday! By the time you see this you will already know but for those of you that don't know yet..........It's..........a.........boy!!! Our little precious baby Rylan was a welcome site to see yesterday. My heart is flooded with love I never knew exsisted, or at least not to the depths I am learning of now. I love the song Never Alone, see previous post. My entire being is in love with this child. I can hardly hold back the tears when I think of him. I cherish every tiny movement I feel. I am so grateful to have this experience. For those of you already parents, I don't know how you manage to have a piece of your heart walking around outside of your body, and for those of you yet to be, get ready because just being pregnant is such a remodel of my heart. This coming from someone who been loving and taking care of children for the last few years, but this time is so intense and entirely different. I love you Rylan and want to be the best mommy I can be. I pray for you all the time and love just doesn't seem like a sufficient word to describe how deeply I care for you, it's almost like an ache. My dear sweet boy Rylan I can't wait to hold you in my arms and probably never want to let go.

My hearts cry and prayer to my child

May the angels protect you
Trouble neglect you
And heaven accept you when its time to go home
May you always have plenty
Your glass never empty
And know in your belly
You're never alone

May your tears come from laughing
You find friends worth having
With every year passing
They mean more than gold
May you win but stay humble
Smile more than grumble
And know when you stumble
You're never alone

Chorus:
Never alone
Never alone
I¹ll be in every beat of your heart
When you face the unknown
Wherever you fly
This isn't goodbye
My love will follow you stay with you
Baby you¹re never alone

Well I have to be honest
As much as I wanted
I’m not gonna promise the cold winds won¹t blow
So when hard times have found you
And your fears surround you
Wrap my love around you
You're never alone

Chorus

May the angels protect you
Trouble neglect you
And heaven accept you when its time to go home
So when hard times have found you
And your fear surrounds you
Wrap my love around you
You¹re never alone

Chorus

My love will follow you stay with you
Baby you're never alone

Almost 20 Weeks

My doctors appointment was last Thursday, so these are a week late. We are anxiously awaiting to find out what I NEED to shop for, pink or blue. We bought the crib and changing table last weekend, but the crib box would not find in our car. We will have to go back to pick it up when the armoire we ordered is in. I don't have any pictures yet. We weren't planning on buying anything, just looking, but since we don't get over to that side of the water that often we decided, actually daddy, decided we should just get it then. I think someone is excited! We are off to Portland tomorrow for a long weekend hopefully in the sun. Oh yeah, we did decide on names...Eleanor (Ellie) Kae and Rylan James, there may be a second middle name to follow, we'll see. I can't believe we're half way there. It is going so fast and I love love love being pregnant. It's the most amazing love to share between the three of us. I am getting my fill of Baby story and all those other baby shows and joyfully looking forward to my own experience come October. Look for updates in the next week hopefully with ultrasound pictures. Don't be shy little one!

I scarred my nephew, I think :(

We went to the visit Kenny's family this weekend. Beautiful sunshine, fun with family, good food, and a trauma. Kenny and I were playing a game with the nieces and nephews. I had bent down to put the cards out and then our five year old nephew starts whispering to Kenny. Kenny couldn't hear him, so they went to a quiet area where Zack, the sweet boy he is, told Kenny I was wearing an impolite teeshirt. Well, let me just me honest and say, sometimes it's hard to keep the girls in check, especially when you are wearing warm weather clothing. They returned and Kenny motioned to me to pull up the front of my shirt. After the game was over and people were leaving Zack again whispered something to his mom. Kenny told Zack's mom, Lauren, about my impolite teeshirt and I apologized. She laughed and said, that's funny because he just told me," I saw her hips." Hips, hmm.... well that is the only 'girl' part he knows. Lauren explained that they have to make sure that Zack's sisters shirt are "polite" for school, so he is used to hearing mom and sister talk about appropriate clothing. It was one of the funniest chapters of my life. I was concerned that I had ruined this litte boy with my "impolite teeshirt" but I was assured that is was okay. He is such a sweet boy to know that he should be discret in telling Kenny even when the other kids asked what they were talking about he said, "Nothing. Just somethings impolite." I hope you got as much of a laugh as we did. Ladies make sure you've got control over those hips at all times!
