Update

We are headed back to the hospital tonight at five to be induced. We should have a baby boy sometime tomorrow. The next posting will be to introduce our blessing! Thank you for your encouragement in prayers. The next twenty four hours will be life changing and joyous. I love my boys...

This is cute too!

I wanted to add one more picture. Oh and have you noticed, I'm kinda into polka dots, maybe more than I thought!

Rylan's Room

Thanks to Grandma Razr Rylan's room is all set and looks amazing! It's perfect...We may have a baby boy sooner than planned.

37 weeks

Yesterday right after my doctor's appointment I was sent over to the hospital for some tests and monitoring. Basically I have pre-eclampsia and they are going to continue monitoring me. Tomorrow morning I go back to the hospital for the same round of tests and monitoring and depending on how those results come back they may start the induction process mid morning, if not they think he will come within the week on his own. I was a little overwhelmed yesterday when they said you may not be going home today. I am better today. They are not concerned about Rylan at all-just me; he is a big boy already measuring 40 weeks! We are just about all set, finishing up the nesting, packing a bag, and other things just in case they say let's have a baby tomorrow. This is probably the last posting from me for awhile, but Kenny should be able to get you all informed. Thank you for you thoughts and prayers. We can't wait to show off our precious gift. Hopefully this is the last pregnant picture!

Yes I know that this blog thing seems to be used primarly by the female folk, but I do keep up every now and again and check out the latest. Of course mine and Christins lives are going to change in ways that we cannot even imagine with little Rylan making the start of our new family. I have decided to share because my life has changed in so many ways, and all of them are for the best. My wife has been transformed and her beauty brings me to my knees, the creation of life is a miracle and I stand in awe watching Rylan grow big and strong, and to watch Christin become a mother. Both of us are humbled, spoken to, and our hearts grow bigger everyday. Sure there are little challenges, am I am sure that these are just the start of many yet to come, but experiencing the miracle of life inside another is something that cannot be described by words. What strikes me as funny is how so many have words of " advice " for us through this, and then there are some who have words of encouragement and I say thank you for those. I leave you with this, no person ever stands alone! The father to be, looking forward to the easy times and hard times as well, Christin and I look forward to meeting our new little boy and everything he has to offer.

34 weeks and counting

Bekah's wedding was beautiful, to check out pictures go to www.kyanataillon.com and put in the event code JBBrandenburg to view photos. We are recovered and starting to nest for Rylan's arrival. We have had amazing sunny days since coming to California. We are happy to be back in the sunshine. I am feeling good but ready to meet my little boy. I can't wait to sleep on my stomach. This pregnancy has been easy and pleasurable thus far, although I am understanding the feeling of being done. My next doctor's appointment is Wednesday the 12th and then I think I go every week after that. Any birthday predictions? We will keep you updated as the days of pre-Rylan count down. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as the weeks pass by. I can't wait to post baby pictures :)
